I have a new article on CBS Sports, this one on Brazilian fighter Wagnney Fabiano. He’s fighting for the new IFL featherweight title in the Grand Prix, and he may be one of the best pure jiu-jitsu fighters I’ve ever seen in MMA.
Many BJJ practitioners lack takedown ability and legitimate wrestling skills, but Fabiano isn’t one of them. The thing that really impresses me about him, though, is similar to what I love about Randy Couture: his opponents always know what he’s going to do, more or less, but they can’t stop him.
I guess it makes sense when you know a little something about his background. Now you can be one of those people, the kind who knows things. Just read the article here.
